Skyfii treats data protection, privacy and security very seriously. How data is collected, stored and used is of the utmost importance to our business, including supporting our customers’ compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

As part of this continued commitment to data privacy, Skyfii is ensuring its compliance with GDPR, which comes into effect on the 25th May 2018.

At Skyfii we have already undertaken a number of steps to prepare for GDPR, including:

  • Personal data removal, portability and cease of collection. We’ve made it easy for end-users to control the information they provide and we capture. End users can self-administer their data through a centralised end-user portal. The portal allows end-users to view and delete data collected about them or easily opt-out of data collection and marketing.
  • Adopting user-friendly terms and conditions; privacy policy. So that end-users can better understand policies, we have adopted plain language terminology and removed excessive legal jargon. Ensuring users clearly understand the conditions of use. Furthermore, our privacy policy has been updated to meet the new standards
  • Appointment of an EU Data Protection Officer. We have appointed an EU Data Protection Officer, who will oversee and steer Skyfii’s continuous compliance with standards, legislation and policies with regard to data protection.

Our ongoing commitment to the privacy, protection and security of our customers’ data, will continue to be a priority for Skyfii’s operations globally.
