In continuing to support its longstanding relationship with Aruba, Skyfii was proud to sponsor yet another of one of their events in the LATM region this year – Atmosphere Local Buenos Aires 2018.

The event brought together over 1,000 professionals in the IT industry to discuss innovations in networking and mobility technologies, and provided Skyfii with another great opportunity to continue building its presence in Argentina and the region at large.

Demoing the Skyfii IO Platform

Skyfii’s Channel Manager for the Americas, Julian Blanco, was also there to demonstrate how the integration between Skyfii’s IO Platform and Aruba’s hardware enables customers to turn their WiFi infrastructure into a powerful location-based analytics and marketing channel.

The Heatmap Report Was A Hit

One particular feature that Julian mentioned getting a lot attention was the Heatmap report available in IO Insight – the platform’s intelligence and reporting component. By leveraging wireless access points, the Heatmap report allows stakeholders to visualize the flow and density of foot traffic throughout their venues.

The Heatmap report allows you to visualize – both historically and in realtime – how foot traffic  flows through your venue throughout the day.

Marketing officers employed by shopping centers might use these reports to identify high-traffic areas for location-based marketing initiatives, while airport operations managers might be interested in diagnosing and improving congested zones within their airports.

While the Heatmap report demonstrates just one asset of the IO Platform’s many capabilities, it’s an example of how Skyfii can enable Aruba’s partners to add tangible value to the hardware solutions that they provide to their customers.
