Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), sixth busiest airport nationwide in aircraft movements and passenger traffic, partnered with CrowdVision for a queue analytics system to improve passenger experience at their TSA checkpoints.
The CrowdVision queue analytics contract was awarded through a competitive bid process and measures queue wait times, occupancies, throughputs, utilization of checkpoints resources and more. This allows CLT to have a complete view of their checkpoint operations so they can deliver an exceptional passenger experience.
CrowdVision’s solution automatically detects a queue, regardless of shape and size, and identifies the destination of the people in that queue. That means that during a busy travel day, CLT will have accurate and trustworthy queue analytics to help them take action to keep operations safe, secure, and efficient.
The CrowdVision solution measures:
- Wait, expected wait, dwell, service, and asset utilization times
- Arrival, occupancy, and throughput counts
- Checkpoint, queue, lane, and TDC usage
- Safe distance metrics like exposure time, separation distances, and safety grades
